Let there be zombies 01

My weekend drawing. Did it with entirely with Wacom Intuos 3 and Photoshop CS4. Ok with the result, but took too long for a piece like this unfortunately. Still have a lot of rooms for improvement. There are simply not enough details. For instance, the hair should have more highlight, the clothings are too clean for a zombie. All these are second round observation. This is also a warm up as I haven't been drawing for some time. I need to find a faster way but yet give me better result. In other word, keep drawing till I get exactly what I want.

I am doing a series of zombie art as warm up to my next actual comic story. Will be exploring possible methods and styles that I would be comfortable with, using the Wacom Intuos 3.

This is an early design I did for the long over due tee series Black Xmas. It wasn't very suitable for the tee because it didn't give enough impact. I like it as an illustration though so here, have a look.

Hi, I m Lefty and Major Zombie is a comic book character I created in 2003. This is a blog where I will share with you the latest development of Major Zombie's stories.
